Fabric before print
Satin at 19 momme, silk-viscose at 135 gsm, cotton jersey at 180 gsm — written on every page, with the mill and the country it was cut in. No pattern to hide a thin cloth.
Cut for sleeping
Elastic at the back of the waist, never the front; a drawcord you can actually tie; trousers long enough to stay down when you turn over. Small decisions, three nights in.
Small runs
Six styles, four sizes, three colours — a hundred and forty-four pieces to a run. It keeps the sewing honest and means we can tell you what is left.
Easy returns
30 days, unworn and unwashed with the tags on. Free return label on the first return of an order; a faulty seam or a wrong size is replaced, not argued about.
Our story
ANIBAL FRANSISCO started with one pair of pyjamas that were too short in the leg and too tight at the waist, and a decision to make the pair we actually wanted: heavy satin, a drawcord, pockets. Six styles later the rule has not changed — if we would not sleep in it for a week, it does not go into the range. Everything ships from our own shelf in Hawthorne, California.
